50s Inspired Handbag

Over the 5 day Easter long weekend, I've been working on 2 new bag designs and one of that was the 50s inspired handbag. Back in the 50s, the handbag was literally a handbag, the bag was worn over the forearm. 

In this bag design, I sort of made the handle a little longer so it can be worn over the shoulder. I am thinking of making some bags with shorter handles too. I am happy with the result of this design. These bags will have leather handles accented with rivets. For the next few weeks, I will be making different variations of this bag for the Handmade Market on June 11.

A hat and gloves will finish the 50s look. Do you like it? I know you would love it!
